This page is to help ensure a smooth planning process for all CheeseCon exhibitors. We have compiled the following documents, tools and services for your use. Please review these items as they will help you coordinate all booth details for the show. Please Be Aware of Fraud!

CheeseCon has been made aware of several fraudulent claims. Please be aware of the following:

  • CheeseCon does not sell attendee lists. If you receive an offer to purchase our attendee lists, it is fradulent.
  • Hotel Fraud. CheeseCon has has not endorsed anyone to contact you directly to book your hotel room or offer you a special discounted conference rate. If you receive one of these calls or emails, it is fraud.
  • A form requesting you to update a listing in the International Fairs Directory or Expo Guide or Fair Guide or World Business Guide. The form says Updating is Free, but there is a small paragraph at the bottom of the notice that states it is a three year contract for a recurring annual fee. Only Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association staff (Caitlin Peirick, Gracie Krahn or Judy Keller) will contact you to update your listing.

ASAP - When you receive your exhibit space confirmation email, click the link and log in to update your Exhibitor Directory Profile.

ASAP - Register all exhibitors working in your booth.

February 7 - Advertising artwork deadline for the CheeseCon 2023 Official Program.

February 9 - Deadline to update Exhibitor Directory Profile for Official Show Program.

February 15 - 10% early bird registration discount ends.

February 28 - Lead Retrieval early bird pricing ends.

March 28 - Lead Retrieval advance pricing ends.

March 26 - Advance order deadline for Alliant Energy Center.

March 27 - Advanced CheeseCon registration ends. All registrations after this date must take place on-site.




Register all staff who will be working in your booth, including who will be using the free pass included with your booth. 

  • One complimentary Full Registration is included with the purchase of your booth.  This Full Registration includes access to the exhibit floor on Wednesday, and all seminars, lunches and receptions during the conference.
  • Additional staff working in the booth will need to register for a Single Wednesday or a Full Registration.
  • Registration pricing can be found online here.
SAVE 20% — Register by January 18
SAVE 10% — Register by February 15
Advanced registration will close March 27.
After March 27, all registrations will take place on-site.

Event Information

Event Hours and Location

The exhibit hall will be open on Wednesday, April 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Alliant Energy Center Exhibition Hall, 1919 Alliant Energy Way, Madison, Wisconsin.
 

Lodging

To receive special 2023 CheeseCon Rates, you must book through the official CheeseCon online lodging system.  Reservations for the block will not be accepted directly through the hotels. 
  • To view a map of hotel locations, click here.
  • To make a reservation using the CheeseCon online lodging system, click here.
  • All lodging questions can be directed to destination Madison at services@visitmadison.com or 608-255-2537 and ask for hotel reservations assistance.
    • The Housing Bureau is available from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (CST).
    • To modify or cancel an existing reservation, refer to the “Request for Change” link provided at the bottom of your confirmation e-mail.
    • If you need your confirmation resent, contact Destination Madison at services@visitmadison.com. Please do not contact the hotel directly unless it is within 72 hours of your arrival.

Exhibitor Move In

Early move-in will be available on Tuesday, April 4 from 12:00 p.m. noon to 5:00 p.m. Exhibitors needing less time for set-up may also move in on Wednesday, April 5 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Exhibitor Move Out

Dismantling and removal of displays will begin no sooner than the close of the exhibit floor at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5. All displays must be removed by 11:00 p.m. April 5.

Tabletop exhibit space includes: 

  • One complimentary Full Registration Pass for one of your employees to work in your exhibit space and attend all seminars, complimentary hot lunches, and reception refreshments. Additional exhibitors working in the exhibit space will need to register separately. All registrations completed before January 18 will receive a 20 percent discount.
  • Attendee Contact List that includes name and address of attendees; does not include email address. To be distributed two weeks prior to event.
  • 10 foot x 10 foot black carpeted exhibit space.
  • 8 foot (white) skirted table and 2 chairs; exhibit space sign with printed company name.
  • White 8’ back drape and 3’ side drape.
  • Networking opportunities that include complimentary lunches and evening reception refreshments.
  • Company information as entered by exhibitor on CheeseCon online exhibit floorplan. Information can include company description, marketing information, company logo, key contact information, category listing, etc.

What can I place on the floor?

Examples include floor pop-up displays; pull-up banner stands; TV/DVD stands; magazine racks; furniture; lamps, etc.

What can I place on the table?

Examples include TVs, DVD players, tablets, small industry equipment if it is safe and stable, models of your equipment, custom printed table cover or throw, printed materials, etc.
Important: Cheese industry equipment (equipment used in a cheese plant or processing facility) is only allowed on the top of the table and must be safe and stable. No industry equipment is allowed on the floor.
You may purchase electricity to be used in your space. You may also purchase additional tables, a different color skirting, or different size table(s) to be used in your exhibit space.

What can NOT be within a Tabletop Exhibit?

Large or heavy industry equipment used by your customers is not allowed at this event and cannot be placed on the floor.


Exhibit / Event Orders

Alliant Energy Center will provide exhibitor services for CheeseCon.

 

Before ordering, you will need to know your booth number.

How to order

• Visit Alliant Energy Center Ordering Site and click on ‘Order Booth Furnishings’.
• Scroll down to ‘CheeseCon’ and click on the ‘Store’ button.
• Create a login and password. Enter your booth number.
• Continue to the order form. (Remember: your booth already comes with carpeting, a table and 2 chairs.)

Advance Pricing Deadline: March 26, 2023
After March 26 all orders will pay the onsite rate.


Alliant Energy Center will provide advanced warehousing.


Alliant Energy Center will start excepting shipments of booth items two weeks prior to CheeseCon.

• Scroll down to ‘CheeseCon’ and click on the ‘Store’ button.
• Create a login and password. Enter your booth number.
• Once logged in, "Freight Handling" can be found within the left-hand navigation bar.
